This evening we went to the Falls - it was our first trip there this year.  Although it was cold and a little windy, the girls had fun!  Mia looked adorable in her shades and new suit.

 Hannah spent a majority of her time 'swimming laps' {walking laps along the side of the pool} around the kid pool.  She is just so funny...

Today was an exciting day for the Clark girls - they went tubing at the lake for the first time! 

 Hannah went first and had a blast while little sister watched and cheered.

 Then Hannah watched Mia - who also did awesome until the water started splashing her in the face.  

 Once they were done, the girls stayed in the boat with me and watched Daddy and Uncle Adam.

It was a beautiful day to spend on the lake - we cannot wait to go back!

Today we {finally} had Hannah's 4th Birthday party!  It was a GREAT party.  We had so many amazing family and friends come over to celebrate out little girl's big day.  This year we had the party in our back yard - we grilled, had lots of fun activities {jump house, playdough, coloring, and other fun games for the kids} and perfect weather!

Today was Hannah's last day of preschool for the year.  Seems like yesterday was her first day.  She had a great year at Farmstead and is already looking forward to fall when she can go again with her little sister.

Today the girls and I went for a walk on the trails. As you can see, the girls did not want their picture taken - but this picture still makes me laugh.  Especially Mia's shoes - they are her Tinker Bell shoes from Halloween.

Hannah and I had a girls day today.  As one of my mother's day gifts, Dan set up an appointment at Jiva for a couple hours of pampering.  Hannah got her nails painted and I got a very relaxing pedicure.  I think this may become a regular thing for us girls!

Today we took a tiny look at our robin friends to see if their eggs have hatched yet.  And they have - four tiny little birds resting away.  So precious!

Today we participated in the Cedar Valley Heart Walk at George Wyth Park.  This is the second year we walked with our team Tough Little Tucker and help raise money for congenital heart defect research.

Hannah and Mia really loved being a part of it this year.  It was such a beautiful day for the walk - last year it just rained and rained.

Lately, Mia has not  been in her bed in the mornings and we find her sleeping in Bella's bed in the living room.  These two are really inseparable.

Today I got a late Mother's Day gift - a new tripod and remote for our camera!  It's so great!  Now I can finally be in front of the camera.  And the girls think it's pretty cool and loved getting their picture taken.

There are some days the girls have way more energy than I can keep up with, so we play a little game.

 I get the girls' favorite stuffed animals and line them up at one end of the yard and put a bag at the other end.  They then run back and forth, picking up one stuffed animal at a time, and putting it in the bag. They think it's a super fun game - but it's my secret weapon to wear them out!

Well, the birds in our window bird house have been pretty busy filling up the bird house lately.  So much so, that we cannot see inside anymore!  We're pretty sad we cannot see if there are any eggs in there.

However, we have noticed a couple of robins being very protective of the bush in our front yard.  When I refilled the big bird feeder, one flew away very quickly.  Scared me!  So I took a peek inside the bush and discovered four tiny bright blue robins eggs! 

Hannah and Mia are thrilled and cannot wait for our new tiny bird friends to hatch.

Today started out rainy and wet - which means Hannah needed to wear her new rain coat outside and jump around in puddles!

Today was Farm Fun Day at Hannah's preschool.  The girls had a GREAT time.

They had several fun activities for everyone.

We made necklaces...

 Decorated paper bags and filled them with yummy treats...

 Jumped in a jump house...

 Colored our hair purple...

 And played on the swings.

 Mia also had a blast.

She fell in love with the chickens...

 And had a great time on the slide.

 I am pretty sure she will be very excited when she can finally go to preschool with her big sister.

Hannah discovered a new weed... I mean flower... growing in our back yard.  She was so very excited and could not wait to give it to me as a gift. 

(And Bella is in the back - she heard a noise on the other side of the fence and had to see who or what it was)

Dentist check up today for the Clark family.  Hannah didn't like it so much this time, especially when it was time to clean her teeth, but she still did great.  Especially when she got a bag of goodies when she was finished.

This is what happens when Mia picks out her own clothes and gets dressed by herself.  She wears pretty dress shoes, three skirts, and a princess dress up shirt on half correct half inside out, over her pajamas.  Honestly, I don't mind.  However, we did fix her shirt and change out of pajamas before leaving the house.

I remember last year when mowing the lawn at the Clark house used to look like THIS.

The girls love following Dan around the yard in their jeep.

It's not very often, but we like to take the family out for dinner.  And when there is a TV at every table, the girls can watch cartoons while eating their chicken nuggets - it's almost like a date night for mommy and daddy.
