So that’s what happens when a 2 year old gets a hold of a marker…

she gets marker everywhere!!

 on the storage bin, which was also broken today, so that went to the recycle bin...

 and yet another wall and behind the door...

Not to mention, it is all over the 2 year old... arms, legs, feet, face...

I am still trying to figure out where she found the marker.  And, I am praying that one day, I will find this very funny.

Happy 33 Months Hannah!

Well, a couple of days ago, on the 24th, Hannah turned 33 months old.  I was thinking today that I love to post these monthly to see how much the girls have changed in just a short time. 

Here is a picture of Hannah playing dress up with Mia.  She LOVES her 'Abby Hair' headband.

Lately our house has been pretty chaotic.  I'm still aren't used to having a new puppy and all the work that involves.  And Hannah is a very strong willed, independent child, we are struggling though these 'terrible twos'.  But, we take it one day at a time...

Happy 16 Months Mia!

On the 21st, Mia turned 16 months old. 

She is starting to talk a little more clearly - but she's still really shy and doesn't talk around other people.

She got her first set of molars in.

She had her first vacation out east to Pennsylvania.  She got to meet a lot of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  It was so great to see everyone!

Lately the girls have been playing a lot of dress up and having a lot of fun.

It is so much fun watching these two together.  They love eachother so much!

best seat in the house

as some of you may know, not long ago, my great-grandma passed away.  when we were in pennsylvania for her funeral, we visted her home and mia fell in love with this tiny rocking chair.

she is always sitting in it and rocking.  it's the cutest thing.

she loves this rocking chair.

 someday i will be excited to share the story behind this chair.  it's a pretty special little chair for a pretty special little girl.

sweet bella

Yesterday I took this picture of Bella. She was taking a nap in the warm sunshine that was coming in through the front door.  First I thought - how great is it we can open our front door so the light can come in and warm our home in the winter.  Then I though - I wish I could just lay there and nap!

Today Bella had her first vet appointment - the vet determined she is a keeper! But, we already knew that.  We have also figured out she is a different mix of breeds than we were told at the shelter - she is infact an American Staffordshire Terrier/Rhodesian Ridgeback (say that five time fast!).  :)
