Happy 27 Months, Hannah!

I just realized this morning that I have not posted new pictures of Hannah.  It has been a busy couple of weeks and with Mia taking a lot of my time lately, I completely forgot!
Here are the latest pictures of Hannah showing off her new tutu that I made for her... she loves it and wears it all the time!  :)

Mia's 10 Month Pictures

Mia is finally feeling better and we got a cute little photo session in yesterday!  She's doing so much better, back to her old self, thanks to everyone for asking about her!

And here she is standing!  She likes to squat down really slow... haha!  She's so cute!!

Happy 10 Months Mia!

Yes, this is NOT a picture of Mia on her 10 month birthday... this is actually from November when she was about a month and a half old.  Poor Mia is having a rough week.  Monday I took her to the doctor for an ear infection.  Last night Mia was covered from head to toe in hives because she is allergic to the medication they gave her... today they look so bad with red spots and blotches all over her face.  Thought I would wait and take 10 month pictures when she is feeling, and looking, better! Hopefully soon!

However, this last month was pretty great for Mia.  We had our family from Arizona and my cousin from Florida come visit for a while for Uncle Joshua and Aunt Kaytlyn's wedding reception.  Mia had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone.

She also got her first two teeth!  They are the cutest little teeth I have ever seen (very biased of course).

She is trying more finger foods - some of her favorites are pizza, garlic bread and cocoa puffs.  (Yes, mommy did not give her these foods - that is all thanks to big sister, Hannah)

Mia has also started letting go and standing without holding onto anything.  One step closer to walking!

Two Little Dragonflies

Thanks to facebook, and how easy they have made it to shop online, I have recently come across a great little shop called Little Missy Kate's (she can also be found at Etsy and on Twitter) where is, as Hallie Keller puts it, "the place to find your new fabulous and affordable accessories!"

I asked Hallie to create a beautiful handmade necklace for me... and this is what she made... and I absolutely love it!
As most of you know, Dan and I had a rough start when we decided we wanted to start a family. We found out we lost our first pregnancy the same day we discovered we were pregnant with twins. It was a hard time for us, but as you know we have been extremely blessed by our two amazing little girls.

When we painted our nursery for Hannah, Dan and I painted two little dragonflies above the door as a way to remember our babies. And when I saw another necklace on Hallie's site, I thought it would be a wonderful way to keep them near my heart. Not only could I have the dragonflies, she hand stamped the girls' names and inlcuded their birthstones.

Since I love this necklace so much, I wanted to share it with all of you. Take a moment to check out Hallie's other jewelry - find something for yourself or for someone else - and be sure to let her know I sent you! :)
