Dress up time never seems to end at our house.  Even in pajamas, Mia wears her crown.

Hannah and I thought we would try taking pictures with the new iPad.  Hannah got the brilliant idea to use my wedding ring as a prop... she was being really goofy.  This was her favorite picture we took - making it our photo of the day.

A very fun night out with a few of my favorite MOPS mommas!  It's not very often I get out just to have some fun - I really need to do it more often... tonight we learned a little county line dancing. And yes, I am terrible.

Hannah has been learning a lot about dinosaurs at preschool.  Knowing that her mommy is kind of crafty, she asked me to make her a dinosaur shirt.  Not just any dinosaur shirt would do - it had to be purple, with a purple T-Rex - her favorite.

Of course I made her one  just as she asked and she clearly she loves it!

Project 365 - April 24, 2012

 Today Hannah is 4 years-old!

It is so hard to believe this day is here.

 Hannah had a great day!  We spent the day at home having fun and celebrating.  She got some cards in the mail which made her feel very special.

 Picked out a chocolate, chocolate, chocolate cupcake.

 Was all smiles when it was time to open gifts.

Although Mia tried to tell her she was still 3, and I wished she was... our little girl turned 4 today.  She is growing up so fast.  She is amazing and such a blessing.

Happy Birthday Hannah!  We love you so very much.

Project 365 - April 23, 2012

Today Hannah had a mini birthday celebration at preschool!  It was also her show and tell day and she decided she wanted to take Bella to meet her friends.  Hannah told all her classmates all about Bella and answered all their questions.  Then she got to walk around and all the little kids got to pet her.  Bella loved all the special attention.

Hannah also got to take a special birthday treat to school today - she helped decorate these butterflies.

And she got a very cool birthday sticker.  She couldn't wait to show it off for the camera.

AND.....

We got a peek of who we think is staying in our birdhouse.  They don't seem to want to spend much time there since building their nest.

Hannah got an early birthday present today - a new picnic table!  She loves it (and so does Mia) - mostly because it is so big, all her friends can come over and sit with her.

Today was our last day of swim lessons and here is our little rock star!  Mia was pretty much afraid of the water the first day and would barely go in.  She just sat with me on the steps and watched the other kids.  And the last day - she was walking into the pool, going to the 'deep' water, and going completely underwater all by herself!  We were all pretty excited she did so well!

Today I took the girls to KT's Inflatable Park for the first time with some of our MOPS friends.  Hannah LOVED it and spend the entire time on the biggest slide they had.

 Mia, on the other hand, was very happy on the small plastic slide away from all the inflatable slides and jump houses.

I am very sorry for the terrible pictures - this will teach me to make sure I have my camera with me at all times.  These were taken with my cell phone.

Princess dress up day... today both of the girls spend most of the day dressed up in their favorite princess dresses, playing and dancing.  We had a lot of fun!

Dandelions.

They are everywhere right now.  All over our yard. 

The yellow flowers are special and picked just for mommy. But once they turn white, that is when they become really exciting.  The girls pick them all and make a wish - then blow the tiny seeds and watch them float away.

It was a warmer,  yet very windy day today. So the girls decided they both needed to wear their winter scarves, too keep warm, while we ran some errands this afternoon.

Tonight we had some storms pass through the area and the girls were a little nervous - they did not like the loud thunder.  So we stayed up extra late having a pajama party.

 And we did all the girls favorite things - watched their favorite movie, had yummy ice cream, and drawing pictures. 

Mia has been practicing her smiley face.

 And Hannah drew a picture of her mommy and daddy.

It's a Friday night girls night!  We seem to have a lot of nights with just us girls these days... but this one was extra special with pizza and bread sticks, a movie and a picnic on the living room floor.

Thanks to the Easter Bunny, Mia has a couple of new favorite toys.  Her Mickey Mouse stuffed animal and bubbles.  She is never without them.  It is amazing that something so simple can make her so happy and so silly.

I was so excited to get our juicer today! 

A few months ago, Mia began to not digest sugars very well (including lactose in dairy) making it pretty difficult to find foods and drinks that she can have.  I have had to teach myself how to make her delicious foods that are sugar and dairy free. 

One thing she asks for a lot is juice.  And today, she could finally have some.  She was one happy little two year old!

Happy Easter!

We started the day with church and tried to get some family pictures of the girls in their beautiful Easter dresses.  

After church we went back to Mama and Papa's house to change clothes and open Easter baskets.  The girls got some wonderful gifts. Then headed to a friends house to have a delicious dinner with several families from church

 We spend most of the time surrounded by beauty...

 and cows!  We always love visiting here.

 After dinner the kids had fun with an Easter egg hunt.

 Their baskets got too heavy to carry.

 Grandma and Grandpa Webb even spent the day with us.  Here are the girls saying goodbye before they left.

 And we finished the day with a little more fishing before heading back to my parent's house for the night.

 And Hannah caught a fish!

We had a wonderful weekend having fun with family and friends - however we always remember the reason for this holiday and are so thankful!

Having some fun today in the back yard at Mama and Papa's house.

Here they are picking the leaves off the bushes.  It was apparently very exciting.

 What was even more exciting was when we discovered four little friends living under the bushes.
