Happy Leap Day! 

Today we had another amazing snow storm come through - it didn't bring much snow, but it was really windy!  Mia enjoyed watching the snow fall out the window.   After leaving the house to run some errands and pick up Hannah from preschool, Mia very clearly told me, "it's gross outside."  She was right!

I am pretty certain that Bella loves visiting my parents in Des Moines as the rest of us. She loves my dad and can usually be found sitting next to his chair all curled up on a blanket.

This morning we woke up to a beautiful sight... snow everywhere!

 And it was perfect snow for building snowmen.  Hannah was very excited about that!

It's snowing and it is so beautiful!  The girls and I have been watching it snow since it started a couple of hours ago.  We absolutely love it!

Today the girls and I went to story hour at the public library.  We came home with a pile of books and a couple dvds.  Hannah couldn't wait to get home from preschool today so she could read them all!

Our little artist, Hannah, spent some time drawing and drew a sea turtle and a jelly fish swimming together in the ocean. Her pictures always make me smile.

Today the sun was shining and the girls had some time to play outside.

 It's been a little while since we have had their cars out, so they had a a lot of fun.

 Tonight for dinner we made our own pizzas.  Hannah loved that she could pick our her own topping and put them on the pizza crust.  She made it extra yummy.

 While the only thing Mia wanted to do was eat the toppings.

This afternoon we spent some time outside enjoying the warm weather.  Hannah was jumping all over the back yard - in the messy mud and in what is left of the snow.

We love going shopping and finding a place to play.  Mia had some fun with building blocks at the store today and built an amazing tower.  It was a nice break from walking around and made this little girl extra happy.

This moning mommy woke up with a terrible headache - so quiet activities was a must for the first couple of hours of our day.  Hannah loves to 'paint' on the t.v. - it keeps her and her sister occupied for a while so mommy can feel better faster.

Mia LOVES to watch her favorite cartoons - Diego and Mickey Mouse Club House.  And sometimes, as an extra special treat, she gets to watch them on her Uncle Joshua's ipad.

Today was Hannah's Valentine's Day party at preschool.  She had a wonderful time and brought home a decorated shoe box full of goodies!

Hannah is the most excited 3-year-old I have ever seen these days.  She cannot wait for Valentine's Day.  Today she made Valentine's for everyone in the house - practicing drawing hearts by tracing a foam sticker.

My "Super Girls" used blankets to make capes and played together all afternoon.

 Hannah's super hero name was "Red Robin Hood"

Bella was feeling much, much better today and enjoyed some time outside running all around the back yard with her favorite toy. 

 Mia and I like to run our errands while Hannah is at preschool.  We went to Target today and she got very cozy in the cart - she looked so cute - and even took a short nap.

The sunrise was beautiful this morning. It was a lovely surprise to see Dan had captured a lovely picture.  It reminded me of this bible verse today...

Bella wasn't herself today - She must be feeling under the weather. She spent most of her day curled up, sleeping on her comfy pillow.  Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for her.
