Today Mia is 5 months old!
This past month she started rolling over, scooting around the room, knowing her name, and loves her exersaucer!

Happy Valentine's Day
It’s almost Valentine’s Day and every year I get so excited because I cannot think of a better thing than love to celebrate. Not just love for your husband/wife/spouse, but all kinds of love! And this year, it’s my girls and what I love most about them is what makes them unique.
Hannah is as goofy as they come. As soon as she walks into a room, everyone smiles. I love that about her and I hope it never changes. I love how she loves music and dancing and her newest thing – singing. Even though we cannot understand everything she’s saying, whatever it is makes her happy enough to sing. I also love how she loves her favorite toy, Dog. Whenever he’s missing, she’ll walk around the house yelling, “Dog, where are you?” until he’s found. I love how she calls cookies “tow-tows”, calls Elmo “Melmo”, and says “love you, mommy” at the most random moments.
And Mia is just as amazing. She loves her mommy and will stop crying the moment I pick her up, whether it is off the floor or from someone else. She always smiles and kicks her legs with excitement when she sees me. I love how she always fake coughs when I change her diaper. And that Hannah makes her “coo” and smile. And how she’s only four months old and I have to already figure out ways to keep her hair out of her eyes.
I never thought I’d be so lucky to have been blessed with amazing little girls. If you would have asked me three years ago if I could ever be this happy, I would have thought you were crazy. So this year we’re celebrating them!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope you are celebrating it with the ones you love.

winter fun
Sunday afternoon Hannah went sledding for the very first time! We have been waiting all winter for a perfect day, and yesterday was finally it! She absolutely loved it and had so much fun! It did take her a little while to get used to it (thanks to Daddy sledding all the way into the street the first time down! haha), but by the end she was yelling "weee" all the way down the hill and saying"more, more" because she didn't want to stop. And to top it off, Hannah was the 'cool kid' because she had the fastest sleds!
Here is Dan and Hannah in the street. It was SO funny! Everyone was laughing...

She got a little spoiled being pushed up the hill everytime,
but that smile made it totally worth it!
Time to sled with Mommy
(hat over the eyes... oops!)
Even Mia got into the action
(just kidding! She just slept the entire time safely at the top of the hill)
