Happy 25 Months Hannah!

Growing up so fast and always making us laugh. We love her so much!

happy 8 month's mia!

Today Mia is 8 months old!

This month Mia has...

started crawling on her hand and knees... but now she "crawls" on her hands and feet

Pulling herself up to standing - Her favorite thing is to stand wherever I'm sitting (usualy the comfy chair)

Walking along the furniture and whatever else she can hold onto while standing

Tried more new foods - Peas, Avocado, Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Prunes (yum yum), and yogurt. She is starting to come around and like a few.

And likes to drink her bottles all by herself, sitting up. (Silly girl!) Stopped using her pacifier and introduced to the sippy cup.

And most importantly - started wearing cute hair bows and clips!

This is going to be a very exciting month for Mia - she is going on her first vacation (to Colorado in June) and finally meet her Papa, Uncle Adam and Uncle Shane.

hannah's new PINK car

Hannah got this super cute pink car for her birthday from her Mama and Papa. She LOVES it... for a while she would get really mad when we wouldn't let her go for a drive down the street. I think we have figured out how to avoid this fight by blocking the end of the driveway with our cars. :)

Kitchen Update #4

We have a new floor!

We removed the carpet...
Removed the lenoleum..

Removed the underlayment and put down plyfloor...

The first tile going down...

The last tile...

Hannah thinks the new floor is pretty great...

The grout is drying and we're waiting to put everything back...

It is pretty amazing!

She's growing too fast...

Mia just started crawling and yesterday she decided that just wasn't enough...

so she started doing this...

And today she thought this would be fun...

I love how after each step she takes, she reaches out to see if she's to her 'piano' yet.

Kitchen Update #3

As you can see part of the kitchen is done! Yaay! And it looks AMAZING - these pictures don't even show it! Clearly the *lovely* carpet is still there, the window trim is still missing and I haven't decided what to do about the backsplash. Any suggestions?

There is still a lot to be done, but it's coming together!
