Project 365: November 30, 2012

The girls got a nice gift from Briley and Joy this morning.  They each received a gift card to their favorite restaurant - Applebees - that they could use on a mommy and/or daddy date!  {They can choose their date(s)} I cannot wait to spend some one-on-one time with my beautiful girls... hopefully one of them will let me go! :)

Project 365: November 29, 2012

It looks like we didn't leave enough water out for our elves last night.  This morning we found them trying to make their own pop with the Sodastream.

 I also had another fun mommy night out with my gal pals at Old Navy!

We had so much fun checking out the new sweaters for the season!

 

 

No matter what style we chose, we looked amazing! 

I know I will be staying cozy this season. :)

Project 365: November 28, 2012

 The elves didn't make quite a mess tonight (yay) and were found quietly playing with the doll house this morning.  It took Hannah a little while to find them because they were hiding beside the couch in the corner.  It was fun looking for them together.

 And a side note - Our little Bella is sick today.  She was pretty sneaky and it seems to ate more than she should have over the weekend, so it's upset her tummy.  Thanks the Vet, she should be back to her old self in a few days!

Project 365: November 27, 2012

All day yesterday Hannah was pretty sure she was going to stay away all night and watch our Elf friends do something silly.  Briley and Joy must have  saw that as a challenge....

and the girls woke up to TP'd bedrooms!

If you didn't get the chance to meet our elves - we would like to introduce you to our friends Briley and Joy!  They have finally come this year started things off with a lot of fun.

 They wrapped everything in our living room with Christmas wrapping paper! Chairs, tables, clocks, lamps, entertainment center, throw pillows...

 Even toys that were not put away before bed time.

Briley and Joy always bring a lot of fun and giggles in the mornings.

Project 365: November 25, 2012

Before heading back home from our weekend with Mama and Papa we made a stop at Bass Pro Shop.  They were having a lot of fun for kids...

The girls enjoyed the carousel ride

 and making a cute craft.

 And it's always fun looking at the fish.

 Tonight the girls put out some crackers and ice water. We have been patiently waiting for our elf friends Briley and Joy to visit this holiday season.

Project 365: November 24, 2012

Today we had a lot of fun at Incredible Pizza.  The girls really enjoyed all the rides and games.

 

 

 We especially loved racing!  Mia was all laughs.  Hannah and Daddy got first place! Mia and I came in last... it's ok! We still had fun.

 And it wouldn't be a trip to Des Moines without stopping at Orange Leaf for our favorite frozen yogurt. :)

This morning Dan and I ventured out to see all the Black Friday deals. 

Nothing like a coffee date!

And then enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast with my family.  We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!

 Trying to get a good picture of the girls just wasn't working so we went the silly route.  Hannah picked our picture to share with all our wonderful friends and family.

Then we ate a yummy Thanksgiving feast with Dan's family. Mia enjoyed the black olives by eating them off her fingers.  She's always making us laugh.

After dinner we headed to Des Moines.  We discovered Target was opening early this year so we waited in line for the fun.

And our bedroom is finished.  Didn't take long at all - a lovely brown color to make our room feel warm and cozy. Love it!  Only thing left is to hang pictures.
