Happy 22 Months Mia

Mia is 22 months old today!  We have had another great month...

Mia got to go to Arizona again for the 2nd time.  She loved staying at Mama and Papa's for a couple of weeks.  She still talks about them and her uncles.

Mia has also started to turn into a Daddy's girl.

Every morning, when she wakes up, the first thing she says is, "Daddy home?" 

Dan is really enjoying it - he gets lot of extra cuddles with the girls.

Mia's vocabulary seems to grow every day.  She is making sentences that just amaze me.  A couple I hear most often:

"tay you mommy" (Thank you mommy)

"I get you"

"nilk peas mommy" (Milk please mommy)

"here'y'go" (here you go)

"Bella come" or "Bella sit" (often followed by "treat?")

and her all time favorite word:

"cupcake"

Can you blame the girl?  :o)

She's super happy

We're also working on potty training.  I am pretty relaxed when it come to it, so I don't push her (made that mistake with Hannah) and figured Mia will do it when she's ready.  A couple times a day she'll let us know and she'll go.. so that's pretty exciting.  It'll be nice to not have to change any more diapers.

So, not much more to share I suppose.  She'll be 2 in 2 short months (gasp!).  Nope, I'm not ready for it. 

Hannah's First Haircut

Today was a big day for Hannah.

She got her first hair cut...

I know, I know... "she's 3 and this is her first hair cut??" you are saying.

This was super hard for me, to take my baby to get her hair cut.  I just knew once it was cut she would lose those cute curls... so clearly, I cried a little (yes, Dan teased me)

 She was a little nervous, but she was all very excited

 cutting away... we only got a couple of inches cut off so it is still long.

 It looks cute!  and...  looky there, still a couple of curls!

Happy 4th of July

Hannah was very ready for bed before the fireworks started
