Project 365: December 18, 2012

 Briley and Joy surprised us all by wrapping Christmas gifts and putting them under the tree!  Looks like Briley was having so much fun, she wrapped up Joy too!

 

And Mia was so excited she started opening all the gifts!

 

Hannah and Mia were also very excited about the itty-bitty amount of snow that was on the ground.  We had to play for a few minutes before we left for preschool.

Briley and Joy like to stick to the four food groups for elves- candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.  A very sweet diet!

Oh Silly Elves!

Last night they snuck in to mommy and daddy's room and took our ties for our robes and tied them to the ceiling fan. They were found 'flying' around the living room wearing tiny elf sized capes. 

Hannah and Mia got a good laugh when they found Briley and Joy this morning!

Project 365: December 15, 2012

 This morning Briley and Joy surprised the girls with tickets to ride the Snowflake Express.  The girls were thrilled to finally have a chance to ride a train!

 

 Hannah and Mia waited all day for the time to come for our train ride.  We enjoyed yummy Christmas cookies and hot chocolate before our ride. 

 

 Even Briley and Joy rode along. We sang Christmas songs and listened to the Polar Express Story.

 And the girls got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.  They gave the girls bells from his sleigh. {Which have been lovely to listen too... Thanks Santa!}  :)

 This morning we found Briley and Joy sitting with Baby Jesus with our nativity set.  Just a little reminder that Jesus is the reason for the season.

And the girls have found a new favorite place to play.  Bella doesn't use her cage very often, but the girls sure enjoy it. It keeps them busy all afternoon.

Happy 12.12.12!

 

Hannah has been a little down lately because we decided not to put Christmas lights on our house this year.  With daddy's busy work schedule, mommy not going anywhere near the roof, and Christmas quickly approaching, it just isn't going to get done this year.

 

Briley and Joy decided to cheer up our little girl by hanging Christmas lights all around the living room.

 Both Hannah and Mia love it and now we must have the lights on all. day. long! :)  It's just so nice to see my little girls so happy.
