Christmas Weekend

Christmas weekend went by so fast this year.  It was very exciting  because this was the first year that both girls were able to enjoy it and have a lot of fun!  I just wanted to share a few pictures from our weekend...

Mia helped me put out he Christmas gifts after Hannah went to bed.
The girls got a big gift this year - a power wheels jeep!  It'll be fun in the spring after all the snow is gone.
 Of course they love it!
Because of all the excitement of the jeep, it took a while before Hannah realized the cake balls she left for Santa were gone and replaced with candy canes!
Alright, more playing on the jeep...
Finally decided to open the rest of the gifts.

And breakfast in the igloo tent the day after Christmas.
And we have SO MUCH snow right now, Hannah couldn't wait to get outside and play.
The snow is almost as tall as Bella, so Dan cleared her a path so she could play too.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as well!

The Clark Family would like to Introduce...

The newest member of the Clark family...
Bella Rose Clark
On Christmas Eve, Dan and I decided it would be exciting to adopt a dog from Cedar Bend Humane Society that we had heard about.from my brother, Joshua and my sister (in law), Kaytlyn.  They had adopted a puppy, Breck, a couple days before and mentioned she shared a kennel with a dog very similar to her. Her name was Rose, an American Staffordshire Terrier/Rhodesian Ridgeback, and she's a cute playful puppy that was available for adoption.

When we got there, we fell in love.  She was so sweet!  She didn't bark (and only has a few times since she's been in our home), very playful and gentle with the girls, and just wanted to snuggle with Dan.

We thought it would be very exciting to surprise Breck, Josh and Kaytlyn when we went to their home on Christmas Morning.  Breck and Bella where very excited to see each other again.
The girl just love Bella.  Hannah wants to be with her all the time; she even thought she'd try sleeping with her in her kennel.  Mia is starting to warm up to her.  She has always been a little afraid of dogs, but she has started hugging and kissing both Breck and Bella, and just laughs when Bella comes near her. I never imagined we'd ever have a puppy, however, it's been so much fun having her in our home.

Happy 32 months Hannah

On Christmas Eve Hannah turned 32 Months.  This is the best picture I could get of the girls on Christmas eve  before we went to church in their cute new outfits.  Haha... it's nearly impossible to get a really good picture these days.  Doesn't help they were very distracted by another Christmas Eve surprise... :)
