Day 5: Color

One of Hannah's favorite things in the world is color sample cards.  No matter where we go, if they sell paint, that is the first thing she asks to see.  Always picking out a handful of her favorite colors -keeping them safe in one of her daddy's old wallets in her little purse.

Day 4: Independence

Today is Independence Day, or as most people call it, the 4th of July.  Today we celebrate our freedom that we are so thankful for.  On this day we wear our stars and stripes; our bright red, white and blue!

Day 3: A Work in Progress

Hannah is an amazing little girl - she has a wonderful personality that makes it so easy for everyone she meets to instantly fall in love with her.   I believe that God has created her little hands to do amazing things for Him during her life.  She is God's little work in progress.

Day 2:  Hot

When I saw todays challenge, only one thing came to mind - the word hot pretty much defines the summer thus far.  On hot summer nights, there is one thing Dan and I enjoy most:  sitting outside, drinking an ice cold beer and making s'mores.

Project 365: July 1, 2012

This month, I have decided to do something just a little bit different with my daily pictures.  Every day will be a different theme - hopefully I will be able to keep up with the challenge. 

Day 1 - Self Portrait

I am not the most comfortable person in front of the camera.  Quite honestly, it makes me a little nervous and love the excuse of having two beautiful little girls to constantly photograph.  So today was a little bit difficult for me.  But this is me - relaxing in the back yard while the children play.

Project 365 - June 30, 2012

Tonight we went to a surprise birthday party for a friend of ours.  The girls were extra excited because they have horses.

 Mia wasn't quite sure what to think of them...

 But Hannah sure loved them!  I think she is anxious for another visit.

 And a bonus picture just because it makes me smile....

Project 365 - June 29, 2012

After a long week, the kids are very tired, so we decided to take it easy this Friday night and made ice cream!  Not just any ice cream, Soy Strawberry Ice Cream (and we made it sugar free).

All the kids helped mixed the ingredients together...

 By the time we ate our dinner and everyone had a bath, it was ready to enjoy.  So Yummy!!
